The property was very large and only about half full so there was a lot of privacy. Plenty of beach loungers and space. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food could have a little more variety as the buffet meals became a little redundant at the end. Although they had a few vegetarian options nothing was labeled vegetarian in the buffet so I always had to ask, although the restaurants where you ordered food the items were identified on the menu. The bay was very calm and perfect for water sports and swimming but the algae and seaweed made it hard to snorkel as the visibility wasn’t great. Overall as a family we enjoyed our stay but if I was to return to Antigua I would probably go somewhere that had a better beach for snorkelling.

We acknowledge that the recent seaweed on the ocean side might have caused some cloudy water, not ideal for snorkeling but there are ample snorkeling opportunities in the bay, which we are sorry you did not discover. It’s a beautiful property and very family friendly. There’s several dining options, pools, and tons of activities to do. It’s not necessary to leave the hotel for activities, but if you do everything is right at your fingertips from rental cars, tours, excursions you name it and it’s available to you. The employees are very hospitable and friendly. We stayed in a 2bdrm villa and loved it. Very spacious with plenty room for kids to move about. Beach is nice with plenty of chairs and shade to sit under. The only downside to the beach is seaweed, but you’re still able to swim and enjoy it. The food options were ok!!!! The buffet options were good not great and there are specialty dining options available for an additional cost. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a laid back, quiet and friendly place to vacation.

I purchased a two bed room, I was given one with a king bed and a portable bed which was too small for my son and not health for any kind of back condition. Bathrooms are not very clean and arranged weird (see pictures). Food was the same in all restaurants........... I had to leave three days before the purchased check out date due to death in family and the management coldheartedly denied any reimbursement. Seaweed everywhere and workers were at the beach all day basically not cleaning the seaweed but enjoying a smoke and joke.....

The resort location is stunning! Surrounded by mountsins, ocean and lush foliage, it is an oasis. The rooms are clean but dated. The dinner buffet food is slightly above average at best. The breakfast buffet was great. Lunch options were poor and mainly bar type foods. There are restaurants in site that require a reservation that we were able to eat at twice which were really good. But they were closed most nights. The service was good. Overall the trip was great but this is not a resort I would consider all inclusive destination due to the food.

Stayed with a group Plenty of options for food and drinks But you have to keep track of where is available to eat Place is dated and maintained can use a little updating WiFi was not good and cellular signal/data wasn’t good in the area It’s a beautiful location with lots to do at the resort Most staff was nice, few was rude and not helpful House keeping is not done every day unless requested Entire resort felt safe It’s definitely a value all inclusive and you get what you paid for Is around 45 mins for airport if you are looking to explore the island you definitely need a rental car if not taxi to and from is easy. You can have a perfectly nice relaxing vacation at the resort.

A great place to stay. Food was good. Loved being able to eat basically when we wanted. Staff were attentive and helpful. One negative thing was that we chose St James because of their water sports specifically Hobie's. First be aware they are 14' and well used. They were down to 2 boats and only allowed limited time out on them. Bailey worked with us but this limitation was a disappointment.

St. James club is a very pretty property with a beautiful beach on a very calm bay which makes it ideal for families with young children and also people who want to try out the water sports available. The water sports are a big plus as are the staff members who are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful!
